Welcome to the Q&A section for the SanSe Texas Fest website. We hope to answer any questions you may have about our event.
Q: What is the SanSe Fest Texas?
A: The SanSe Fest Texas is an annual festival that celebrates Puerto Rican culture, music, and food. It takes place in the Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas and includes live music, dance performances, arts and crafts, and traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. The first-ever SanSe Texas Festival was held in 2018 in Bedford, Texas. This year will be our 5th event. We are so excited!!
Q: When is the SanSe Fest Texas?
A: The festival takes place on the last weekend of January each year. This year it will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at The Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas.
Q: Where can I purchase tickets to the SanSe Fest Texas?
A: You can purchase your tickets at Eventbrite LINK. As this is a family event, be sure to bring the whole crew!
Q: What kind of music can I expect at the SanSe Fest Texas?
A: The festival features a variety of musical genres, including salsa, reggaeton, Bomba y Plena (Puerto Rican folklore music), and so much more. There are live performances throughout the day featuring many beloved artists such as Luisito Carrión, Victor Gabriel, Los DPR, El Payaso Remi, Bombazo DFW, Pleneros 100 x 35, Jeanko, Edgardo Rivera, DJ Barney; and our very charismatic hosts, Braulio Castillo, Suzette Bacó, and Tu Pana Sky. Put on your dancing shoes and join us for the celebration of the year!! Come for the party, Stay for the memories!
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks to the SanSe Texas?
A: Outside food and drinks are not allowed at the festival. However, there are plenty of food vendors offering traditional Puerto Rican cuisine, and tasty food in general. Yummy, yummy, food for my tummy!
In addition, we ask that you leave the following items at home, as these are not permitted on event grounds:
-Weapons or any item that can be used as a weapon
- Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Large bags or backpacks
- Glass containers or metal water bottles
- Professional cameras or recording equipment
- Laser pointers or glow sticks
- Coolers or ice chests
- Pets, except service animals
- Lawn, beach, or other types of portable chairs
Q: Is the SanSe Texas family-friendly?
A: Yes, the festival is family-friendly and there are activities for children of all ages. This year, we are honored to be paying homage to Puerto Rico’s most beloved clown, El Payaso Remi. Remi is a masterful entertainer with an extensive career spanning over 30 years, who has dedicated his life to educating and entertaining children all over the world. You certainly won't want to miss his performance!
